6th Grade Field Trip
Art and Humanities, Chicago Trip, Chicago, Illinois
Coordinator—Lindsay Barnes Three days/ Two nights
Each spring, the sixth grade class participates in a trip that enriches their art and humanities curriculum by visiting museums, select neighborhoods, and sites in Chicago. The class flies to Chicago and embarks on a bus tour with a guide. They also visit the Art Institute of Chicago, Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Science and Industry Museum, see a performance by the Blue Man Group, and taste a variety of ethnic foods at established restaurants.
