Art Program

The Art Program is an important part of the educational experience at Capital Day School. Art is taught as a means of self-expression and communication. Within a structured curriculum, students are exposed to the elements and principles of design in historic and contemporary art. Artists and their works are studied through slides, books, art periodicals, a variety of classroom projects, and sometimes on field trips.
