Golf
Boys and girls in grades One through Eight may participate in organized golf in the fall, spring, and summer. The purpose of the CDS golf program is to learn golf, have fun, and stay safe with golf clubs. Students in grades Four and below are asked to have a parent or other responsible adult accompany them at golf practice.
Capital Day School’s philosophy of educating the whole child applies to extracurricular athletics as well as school academics. Athletics provides a chance for students to experience physical and social growth and to learn to be responsible. It also allows teamwork and sportsmanship to be incorporated into the students’ learning environment. Students must pass a physical exam before participating in any athletic activity. All interested and eligible students get playing time on athletic teams.
