Part-time Enrollment for Home School Students

Capital Day School offers a dynamic, educational experience in Frankfort, Kentucky. The school’s rich curriculum employs a combination of traditional instruction and twenty-first century teaching methods for an outstanding learning opportunity.

Students who attend Capital Day School are encouraged to strive for excellence, embrace their natural curiosity, think analytically, and articulate their thoughts with clarity and confidence.  When our graduates leave CDS and move on to secondary schools, they find that they are impeccably well prepared for the educational challenges that lie ahead.

We are pleased to offer Home School students an opportunity to join with the Capital Day School community by participating with us in extracurricular sports activities, core content and enrichment classes as long as space permits within their grade level. Tuition is prorated.

Lower School Part Time Students - Grades One through Five

Capital Day School is offering the following classes for Lower School Students, year round, meeting two times per week:

• Physical Education
• Music
• Art
• Spanish
• Computer Technology

In addition, the following extracurricular sports activities are offered for specified grade levels:

• Golf - grades one through five
• Cross Country and Track - grades three through five
• Archery - grades four and five
• Basketball - grade five

Middle School Part Time Students - Grades Six through Eight

Capital Day School is offering the following core cirriculum classes year round for Middle School Students:

• Math
• Science
• Social Studies
• English
• Reading
• French
