Summer Program

Capital Day School’s Summer Program offers safe, fun-filled, creative summer activities that are age appropriate for Preschool and Elementary students. Each age group has weekly themes that keep the students engaged with fresh and exciting activities.

The Preschool Summer Program is for students who have completed one year at CDS and will be entering the four-year-old or Kindergarten program in the fall. There will be specialized activities, including “Pool at School Days” and “Fun Fridays” with pizza.

The Elementary Summmer Program is for students who will be entering first through sixth grades in the fall. For this group, activities include crafts, presentations by specialists related to weely themes, going to the pool at Juniper Hills Park twice a week, visits to the public library, and other field trips. Students have time provided to read from their summer book list.
