Foreign Language Teacher
Kindergarten through Eighth Grade
Capital Day School has an opening for a full-time kindergarten through eighth grade Foreign Language teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. This teacher coordinates curriculum within our K-8 objectives and is an active member of both elementary and middle school teams. The ideal candidate has experience teaching Spanish or French in a school setting and possesses exceptional organizational skills. The ideal candidate also has a demonstrated passion for teaching at the elementary and middle school levels, a demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent development, and a willingness to immediately contribute to our elementary and middle school teams.
Candidates must possess a degree in Spanish or French or be a fluent speaker of the language and submit to a background check. A teaching certificate is preferred, but not required.
