Montessori Assistant Teacher
My name is Lori Proctor, and I am the Primary Montessori Assistant at Capital Day School. I graduated Magna Cum Laude, in 2012, from Kentucky State University. I have a degree in Elementary Education. I began working with Capital Day School’s preschool program in 2014, and I believe, after working in the Montessori program for 3 years, that I have found my place. I have a passion for learning and fostering learning in the children that I get to work with. I have begun working towards my CDA and Director’s Credential at BCTCS, and am beginning the second round of Montessori Assistant training in September, through The Center for Guided Montessori Studies. I am the wife of a wonderful husband, Brad, and the mother of two beautiful children, James (2) and Dorothy (7 months). My family is very important to me, and I am proud to say that I am a first time CDS mom this year. I like to crochet and spend time with my family in my free time.
