Capital Day School
Preschool Ages 3 and 4
Igniting Curiosity While Developing a Sense of Self
All preschool students at Capital Day are surrounded by caring adults and receive a rich curriculum. Hands-on learning experiences develop Kindergarten readiness skills. Each is prepared for success in elementary school.
We have two Traditional Preschool Classrooms and two Montessori Preschool Classrooms for the 2024-2025 school year. The main differences between the Traditional Preschool and Montessori Preschool programs lie in the educational philosophy and classroom management styles of the classroom. Half Day and full-day options are available for each program. As you are making placement choices for your child, please consider which type of learning environment will best meet the needs of your child and family.
